Brodie started developing a passion for makeup in her early teens. She decided to turn that passion into a career when she started running her freelance makeup business in early 2014 whilst completing her year 12 VCE. 

She then decided after she had finished school, she wished to further her career in makeup by completing her Diploma. In 2015 Brodie completed her 'Diploma of Specialist Makeup Services' at the Academy of Makeup. 

As of 2024 Brodie has been successfully running her own makeup business for 10 years and has been freelancing full time for 9 years.
